Iranian general says supply chain for missile production remains intact

Brigadier General Ali Balali, an adviser to the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, says Iran’s supply chain for weapons and missile production remains fully intact.

He told state media that Iran has no concerns in any sector required for its defence production, adding that all components needed for missile production are manufactured domestically and are exportable.

“We can continue the fight for as long as necessary,” he said.

Balali said Iran relies on indigenous capabilities and a clear understanding of operational requirements to drive innovation in missile development. He said the country has reached a level of maturity in the field that no longer requires foreign assistance.

“Since we are both the developers and manufacturers of these systems, and also understand operational requirements, we continuously pursue innovation,” he said.
