An accident occurred in Dodangolla on the Moneragala – Bibile main road when a private bus veered off the road and hit a tree.
Our Correspondent said that in this accident which took place today (10) at about 7.00 am five of the bus commuters sustained injuries and were admitted to the Bibile Base Hospital.
The driver being unable to control the speed of the bus has been the cause of this accident.
The driver of the bus has been taken into custody and the Bibile Police are carrying out further investigations.
