Evidence hearing in Kapila Chandrasena death inquiry postponed to June 19

The Fort Magistrate’s Court, presided over by Magistrate Pasan Amarasena, has ordered that the further hearing of evidence in the inquest into the death of former SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena, who died under mysterious circumstances, be recalled on June 19.

The decision was made today (09).

Witnesses numbered 22, 25, and 29 provided testimony during the proceedings. They include Sub-Inspector M. Udesh Damayanta, Officer-in-Charge of the Criminal Division of the Kollupitiya Police; Chief Inspector Prasad Senadhira de Silva, Officer-in-Charge of the Crime Scene Investigation Laboratory; and Police Constable Madusha Sameera Sampath of the Police CCTV Division.

The court further postponed the testimony of the remaining witnesses to the next hearing date.
