Fees to issue and amend ID cards revised with effect from 1st of November through an extraordinary gazette issued by the Ministry of Public Security.
Rs.200 fee will be charged to register and issue a NIC for a first time applicant.
Rs.1,000 fee will be charged to issue a duplicate NIC in place of those that have been stolen or misplaced.
Rs.500 fee will be charged to amend the details of the NIC.
