Litro Gas has announced a reduction in the prices of domestic LP gas cylinders, effective from midnight today (02), as confirmed by Chairman Muditha Peiris.
Accordingly, the price of the 12.5 kg cylinder has been decreased by Rs. 100, bringing it down to Rs. 3,690. Similarly, the 5 kg cylinder sees a reduction of Rs. 40, now priced at Rs. 1,482, while the 2.3 kg cylinder's price has been lowered by Rs. 18 to Rs. 694.
Litro Gas explained that despite global market prices showing an upward trend, the decision to lower prices was made possible through structural cost reduction initiatives and efficient stock management practices. This move aims to provide relief to consumers amidst prevailing economic conditions.
