Madampe, 4 July 2024 – A tragic accident occurred this morning on the Chilaw-Colombo main road in the Irattakulama area, resulting in one fatality and over 15 injuries.

The collision involved a CTB bus traveling from Colombo to Chilaw and a lorry. The injured were promptly admitted to Chilaw District General Hospital for treatment.

The Chilaw police are currently conducting further investigations into the incident.
