The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced a scheduled water cut affecting several areas in Colombo, slated to commence from 9:00 pm today (04) until 3:00 pm tomorrow (05). This interruption will impact residents of Kolonnawa Municipal Council, Kaduwela Municipal Council, and Kotikawatta-Mulleriya Regional Council.
The board has clarified that the 18-hour water cut is necessary to facilitate repairs on a transmission pipeline that supplies water from the Ambatale power plant.
