The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 12-hour water cut in several areas of Gampaha from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM tomorrow (7).
This is due to a maintenance operation at the Sapugaskanda sub-station of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).
As a result, water supply will be suspended for the following areas:
Municipal Council areas: Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, and Katunayake-Seeduwa.
Pradeshiya Sabha areas: Kelaniya, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Katana, Minuwangoda, and parts of the Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha area.
Residents in these areas are advised to store sufficient water in advance.
