Microsoft is reportedly exiting Pakistan after 25 years of operations.
The software giant, which began its work in the country in June 2000, is said to have been gradually reducing its headcount and operations over the past few years.
The news was revealed in a LinkedIn post by Jawwad Rehman, the founding head of Microsoft Pakistan.
While there has been no formal public announcement from the company, a report by TechRadar suggests that full operations have ceased, with only a small liaison office and around five employees remaining in Pakistan.
