Melsta Hospitals, a healthcare provider serving the Colombo and Gampaha districts and a fully owned subsidiary of Melstacorp PLC, has entered into a partnership with the National Insurance Trust Fund (NITF) to provide enhanced medical benefits to beneficiaries of the Agrahara insurance scheme.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward bridging the gap between advanced private healthcare facilities and public sector employees. By integrating its specialised services with the Agrahara programme, Melsta Hospitals aims to ensure that government employees and their families have access to high-quality healthcare supported by modern diagnostics, expert clinical care, and financial relief.

The partnership introduces a range of concessions aimed at easing the financial burden of medical care for Agrahara beneficiaries. These include a full waiver of in-patient admission fees across all room categories, along with a 20% discount on radiology investigations such as CT and MRI scans, ultrasound scans (USS), and X-rays.
A key highlight is the introduction of specialised maternity care packages tailored for Agrahara beneficiaries.
