In view of the ICC Awards, the International Cricket Council has named the Men’s Test Team of the Decade, Men’s ODI team of the decade and Men’s T20 team of the Decade.
Representing Sri Lanka, former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara was named on the Men's Test team of the decade as the wicketkeeper while other players include Alastair Cook, David Warner, Kane Williamson, Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Ben Stokes, R. Ashwin, Dale Steyn, Stuart Broad and James Anderson.
Sri Lankan right-arm fast bowler Lasith Malinga was named in both Men’s ODI team of the decade and Men’s T20 team of the Decade.
The Men’s ODI team of the decade includes Rohit Sharma, David Warner, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Shakib Al Hasan, MS Dhoni, Ben Stokes, Mitchell Starc, Trent Boult and Imran Tahir.
The Men’s T20 team of the Decade includes Rohit Sharma, Chris Gayle, Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell, MS Dhoni, Kieron Pollard, Rashid Khan and Jasprit Bumrah.
