Ceylon Workers’ Congress to back President Wickremesinghe in election

The National Committee of the Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) has decided to support incumbent President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the upcoming presidential election.

This decision was announced by the CWC's General Secretary, Minister Jeevan Thondaman, during a press conference at the party’s headquarters in Kotagala today (18).

Minister Thondaman also stated that the CWC will sign an agreement with President Wickremesinghe in the near future.
