The Department of Parliamentary Communications has announced that time has been set aside for condolence motions for late former Members of Parliament on Friday (25) from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
This decision was made during the Parliament's Committee on Parliamentary Business meeting held yesterday (8).
Accordingly, condolence motions will be presented for the late former MPs R. Sampanthan, Abeyratne Bandara Herath Pilapitiya, W.B. Ekanayake, Lucky Jayawardena, and Malani Fonseka.
Following the condolence motions, time has been allocated for Questions at the Adjournment from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
