Hirun de Silva and Meedum Mendis from Ananda College, Colombo, have secured a gold medal at the 2025 Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships.


This historic gold medal is the first ever won by Sri Lanka at a Commonwealth Lifesaving Championship.


The Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships, which commenced on July 10 in Wales, United Kingdom, are set to conclude tomorrow (13).
