The Global Business Excellence Awards 2025 ceremony commenced this evening at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo.
The Hiru Media Network was honoured with several awards.
Hiru TV was named the Most Popular TV Channel of the Year, while Hiru FM was awarded the Most Popular Radio Channel of the Year.
Shaa FM received the award for the Most Popular Youth Radio Channel.
Hiru News was also recognised as the Most Popular News Brand of the Year.
In addition, Hiru Star received the award for the Most Popular Reality Show of the Year.
The 'Hiru Mega Blast' open-air music experience was named the Most Popular Outdoor Music Concert of the Year.
The teledrama 'Pata Kurullo', which airs on Hiru TV, was awarded the Most Popular Teledrama of the Year.
For his performance in 'Pata Kurullo', Sajitha Anthony was named the Most Popular Teledrama Actor of the Year.
