Police in Ganemulla have arrested two individuals for the unlawful possession of 83 passports.

The arrests were made in the Horagolla area, where a man and a woman were found with the passports.

The male suspect is a 51-year-old from Wattala, and the female suspect is a 62-year-old from Ganemulla.

The police raid was carried out by a team from the Ganemulla Police Station.

An investigation is now underway.
