The Hiru Media Network has dominated the CALIN Popular Awards 2025, winning a large number of top honours.

Hiru TV was named the Most Popular Television Channel and the Most Popular Television Icon of the Year.

The channel's news broadcast, Hiru News, also secured the award for Most Popular Television News Channel.

In radio, Hiru FM was awarded both the Most Popular Radio Channel and the Most Popular Radio News Channel.

Shaa FM was recognised as the Most Popular Entertaining Radio Channel.

Hiru TV's teledrama "Paata Kurullo" received three awards, including Most Popular Teledrama Among the Youth.

Actor Sajitha Anthony won Most Popular Teledrama Actor for his role in the show, and his costar Devinda Wickramasinghe was named Most Popular Emerging Teledrama Actor.

Actress Kaweerna Wanniarachchi from "Ron Soyaa" was named the Most Popular Emerging Teledrama Actress.

Hiru TV's "Hiru Star" won the Most Popular Reality Programme of the Year award with its presenter, Saranga Disasekara, winning the Most Popular Male Presenter award.
