The 53-year-old The Smashing Machine actor recently spoke out about shedding pounds, and revealed the real reason why.
Dwayne will soon reunite with Benny Safdie for an adaptation of Lizard Music by Daniel Pinkwater, and he’ll take on the role of a 75-year-old man who is best friends with a chicken of the same age.
“I’ve been dieting. Happy to not be carrying all the weight. I’m able to tuck in my shirt now…I don’t look pregnant so it’s all good,” he revealed to Variety.
“Think Clint Eastwood at 75. Sinewy muscles, he’s lean. But it feels good.”
The weight loss comes just after he packed on 30 pounds for The Smashing Machine.
