Ishara Sewwandi, who was arrested in Nepal and brought back to Sri Lanka, has been handed over to the Colombo Crime Division (CCD).
Police Media Spokesman, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) F.U. Wootler, stated that Ishara Sewwandi and three other suspects were handed over to the CCD.
The remaining two suspects will be transferred to the Piliyandala Divisional Crime Investigation Unit and the Western South Criminal Division, the Spokesman added.
The Police stated that further investigations will be conducted based on this development.
