Chinese Dragon Café (Pvt) Ltd has been officially certified as a Great Place to Work, recognising its people-centered culture and commitment to employee well-being.


Established in 1942, Chinese Dragon Café is Sri Lanka’s first and longest-standing Chinese restaurant brand, renowned for bringing authentic Chinese cuisine to generations of Sri Lankans. Today, the brand operates outlets in Bambalapitiya, Mount Lavinia, Rajagiriya, Pelawatta, Wattala, Kandana, Kaduwela, Nugegoda, Dubai, and most recently, Jaffna.


The certification, awarded by the Great Place to Work Institute, follows a detailed workplace culture assessment and the globally recognized Trust Index Survey. Over 75% of employees rated the company highly across key dimensions including integrity, teamwork, agility, innovation, and service excellence.
