Emirates+A380+makes+emergency+landing+at+BIA

An Emirates A380 aircraft (EK434) made an emergency landing at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) yesterday (20).


 


The cause was a sudden illness experienced by a passenger aboard while the aircraft was within Sri Lanka's airspace.


 


Our airport correspondent stated that the flight, which was travelling from Dubai to Brisbane, Australia, was thus diverted to BIA, Katunayake.
