Edelweiss+launches+twice-weekly+Zurich%E2%80%93Colombo+service

Bandaranaike International Airport announced that Edelweiss Air now operates a twice-weekly Zurich–Colombo–Zurich service, further strengthening air connectivity between Switzerland and Sri Lanka.


The flights operate every Thursday and Saturday using the Airbus A350-900 aircraft, configured with 30 Business Class, 63 Premium Economy, and 246 Economy seats.


Edelweiss Air, Switzerland’s leading leisure airline, is based at Zurich Airport and is affiliated with Swiss International Air Lines and the Lufthansa Group. Founded in 1995, the airline operates to over 100 destinations across 38 countries, with a focus on premium leisure travel.


The General Sales Agent (GSA) for the Lufthansa Group in Sri Lanka is United Ventures (Pvt) Ltd.
