Police discovered the body of an unidentified man who died under mysterious circumstances in a forest reserve in Ipalogama yesterday (26).
Officers from the Ipalogama Police Station located the remains during a search operation conducted based on received information.
The body was found within the Pallekagama forest reserve in Ipalogama, police stated.
Authorities suspect the deceased to be a man approximately 55 years of age.
Police also suspect that the individual may have died several days ago.
