Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar tells TVK Chief Vijay that he can only take the oath of office once his party proves its numbers in the state. Sources report the Governor questioned how a government could be formed with 113 MLAs and asked for assurances regarding a majority and supporting parties. The Governor raised concerns over whether action can be taken based on the mere assumption that majority support will eventually arrive for the TVK government.
