Sri Lanka’s nineteen-year-old racing driver, Yevan David, captured the attention of international motorsport commentators and global spectators after competing in the FIA Formula 3 championship Monaco Grand Prix.

Races on the narrow and extremely difficult Monaco track remained largely slow with minimal overtaking.

However, Yevan David injected life and vitality into the entire race through his highly courageous driving style and unique overtaking attempts across the track, despite starting the race from 23rd for the AIX Racing team.

Yevan David was the only driver who added colour to this tournament held in Monaco, commentators noted on international motorsport pages.

The Sri Lankan superstar managed to showcase his inherent talent to the world, although certain limitations existed in displaying the maximum speed of the car.

A massive opportunity exists for Yevan David to reach the very front in upcoming tournaments, and international media expressed confidence.
