The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption extended the deadline for filing asset and liability declarations via the centralised electronic system to 7 July without imposing penalties.
The Commission issued a media release today (30) announcing this decision. Although original instructions required declarations for the year ending 31 March 2026 to be submitted by 30 June 2026 to avoid fines, and despite the ability to file until 31 August, submissions after 30 June typically incur penalties.
The Commission reports that a surge in user traffic starting 28 June caused significant congestion within the electronic system, resulting in technical difficulties for many officials.
To accommodate those who faced these technical barriers—including officials already registered but unable to file by 30 June, and those who attempted to register before the deadline but failed to complete the process—the Commission granted an extension until midnight on 7 July 2026.
Officials encountering issues with the centralized electronic system may resolve them by contacting the Commission’s Assets and Liabilities Declaration Division exclusively at 0767011954 or 0112587287.
