Hela Apparel Holdings PLC appointed Emerald Investments Ltd. to oversee its Egyptian manufacturing site to resolve working capital issues impacting the overseas facility.

The firm, Hela Clothing Egypt S.A.E., which operates as a subsidiary of Hela Investment Holdings Ltd., currently follows a stabilisation programme designed to protect revenue and ensure continuous production.

Under a service agreement signed on 7 June, Emerald Investments manages the factory’s manufacturing operations and workforce until 31 December 2026.

This partnership allows for the uninterrupted fulfilment of apparel orders for international clients.

Emerald Investments earned this appointment due to its proven expertise and capacity in garment manufacturing.

The deal includes an option for the firm to purchase the Egyptian subsidiary, contingent upon terms reached with creditors and both parties involved.

The facility currently produces garments for global brands, with Hela Investment Holdings retaining a 99% stake in the operation.
