Aditya+Birla+to+expand+Odisha+alumina+refinery
India's Aditya Birla Group ​has proposed investing ‌an additional $1.26 billion to triple ​the capacity ​of its Kansariguda alumina ⁠refinery in ​Odisha to 3 ​million metric tons per annum, the state ​government said ​on Saturday.
The expansion, to ‌be ⁠executed by the group entity Hindalco Industries (HALC.NS), opens new tab, ​takes ​the ⁠total proposed investment in ​the refinery ​to ⁠about $2.1 billion, the statement said.
