Residents of Dambulla, Kandalama, said that they face severe difficulties due to wild elephant threats.

Attacks by wild elephants have caused damage to two houses in the area yesterday.

Area residents allege that authorities, including wildlife officers, failed to implement a proper programme to drive away the wild elephants.
