A great merit program to grant life and release a cow destined for slaughter, organised for the second time by the Procurement Division of the Ministry of Justice and National Integration, was held recently (22) at the Ministry of Justice premises.
This life-saving merit program was held under the patronage of the Secretary to the Ministry of Justice and National Integration, President's Counsel Ayesha Jinasena.
Action was taken to direct the saved cow to a safe location for keeping, and a large number of people, including senior officers of the ministry, participated in this occasion.
