A tourism firm in Ella was ordered by the court to pay a fine of one million rupees after being found guilty of selling drinking water bottles above the specified price.

The details linked to the issue of selling drinking water bottles above the specified price were revealed during a raid conducted recently by investigative officers of the Consumer Affairs Authority.

Accordingly, this fine was imposed on the relevant firm when the case was called before the Bandarawela Magistrate's Court.
