The list of Top Performers of the GCE Advanced Level Examination of which results were announced today has been released.
R G Nisal Punsara of Matara Rahula College was placed first in the Biology stream.
K D M Amaayaa Dharmasiri of Kurunegala Maliyadewa College emerged 1st in the Physical Science Stream.
M M A Muditha Akalanka Rajapaksa from Ananda College was placed first in the Commerce stream.
Indeevari Gawarammana of Girls High School Kandy came 1st in the Arts stream.
GCE Advanced Level examination results were released this dawn.
Results could be obtained by logging on to the website www.doenets.lk.
63,550 students sat for the Advanced Level examination last year.
The Examinations Department stated applications for re-correction of answer sheets of the GCE Advanced level examination should be submitted before the 23rd of this month.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Professor Mohan de Silva stated that based on the results released, it was decided to enrol 50 additional students to Medical Faculties this time.
