Colored clothing for students in place of white uniforms

Education Ministry has focused its attention on providing coloured uniforms instead of white colour uniforms.

Participating at a function held in Colombo  Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said that this decision was taken with the aim of enhancing student performance.

On this occasion the Minister said that in the future plans will be made to introduce four or five new colours to the white uniform and let the schools choose the colour for their school.
