A new traffic plan has been launched in Kandy town since yesterday.
Accordingly, all traffic from Peradeniya should enter into Kandy town via William Gopallawa Mawatha.
Police said all outgoing vehicles should be driven along Udapara Old road.
Police have made both William Gopallawa and Udapara Old road into one-way roads in order to minimize prolonged traffic jams in the Kandy town.
