The secretary of the National Police Commission, Saman Dissanayake who was arrested in connection with Avant-Garde incident has been remanded until August 2^nd.

Having noticed by the Galle Magistrate Court, Gangodawila Acting Unofficial Magistrate, who inspected the suspect at Sri Jayawardana Hospital, ordered the arrest.
