New Mayor of Haputale sworn in

New+Mayor+of+Haputale+sworn+in
Upul Dissanayake was sworn in as the new Mayor of Haputale before Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today (05).

Upul Dissanayake was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of former Mayor Sampath Lamahewa, who was first elected as a Municipal Councillor in 1997.

Upul Dissanayake had also served as the Mayor of Haputale previously.
