A serious accident occurred yesterday (23) around 3.30 pm in the Kaduwela Bomiriya 12 Kanuwa area, involving a collision between a private bus and a car.

The accident reportedly took place on the Monaragala-Colombo route, with excessive speed being cited as the cause. The injured passengers from the car were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Navagamuwa Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
