KURUNEGALA MUNICIPAL COUNCIL DISREGARDS PUBLIC SAFETY

A shocking response has been reported from a Kurunegala Municipal Council official after a resident alerted them to a dangerous tree branch about to fall on the Kurunegala-Dambulla main road in the Koskale area.

The individual, who called the Kurunegala Municipal Council, was allegedly told by an official to inform the police as the Municipal Council could do nothing at that moment.

When the concerned resident then asked, "Isn't it a problem if people die here?", the Kurunegala Municipal Council official reportedly replied, "Yes... it's not a problem."
