Navy seizes 250kg of cocaine in Beruwala

The Sri Lanka Navy reported the recovery of nearly 250kg of cocaine from a multiday fishing trawler intercepted in the seas off Beruwala today (16).

The vessel was escorted to the Dikowita Harbour following the raid.

Along with the narcotics, six suspects who were on board the craft have been taken into custody for further investigation.
