Nearly Rs. 3.4 billion in elderly allowances for March under the Aswesuma welfare benefit scheme will be sent to banks tomorrow (26), according to the Welfare Benefits Board.
The funds will be credited to 622,462 elderly individuals over the age of 70 in the first phase and 71,339 elderly individuals in the second phase.
The Welfare Benefits Board further stated that beneficiaries can access their payments through their Aswesuma beneficiary accounts starting tomorrow.
