Dimal Arandara appointed Acting Chairman SriLankan

Sarath Ganegoda, Chairman of SriLankan Airlines Limited and SriLankan Catering Limited, has tendered his resignation from both Boards, effective 31 March 2026.

Until the Secretary appoints a new Chairman to the Treasury, A.K. D.D, Dimal Arandara will serve as Acting Chairman of the Boards of SriLankan Airlines Limited and SriLankan Catering Limited.

In addition, Rohan Goonetilleke, Director, has also resigned from the Boards of SriLankan Airlines Limited and SriLankan Catering Limited.

The Board and Management acknowledged with appreciation the contributions made by Ganegoda and Goonetilleke during their tenure.

Following the resignations, the Board of SriLankan Airlines comprises A.K. D.D. Dimal Arandara (Acting Chairman and Treasury Representative), Flt./ Lt. (retd.) Sugath Rajapakse, Vipula Gunatilleka, Dr. Harsha Cabral, PC, Dumith Fernando, and Senarath Liyanage.

The Board of SriLankan Catering comprises A.K. D.D. Dimal Arandara (Acting Chairman and Treasury Representative), Flt./ Lt. (retd.) Sugath Rajapakse, Vipula Gunatilleka, Dr. Harsha Cabral, PC, and Dumith Fernando.
