Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived back in the country after undergoing surgery in Singapore.
He departed for Singapore on March 15 and moved to a general hospital ward one week after the procedure.
Dr. Sivadasan, who is of Sri Lankan origin, performed the surgery.
Family members, including Professor Maithree Wickremesinghe and brother Channa Wickremesinghe, accompanied the former President to Singapore for the operation.
United National Party Chairman Vajira Abeywardena, National Organiser Sagala Ratnayaka, and Vajira’s son Theekshana Abeywardena also traveled to Singapore later to check on his wellbeing during his hospitalisation.
