Coastal line train services partially restored

Train operations on the coastal line, which were completely disrupted due to a derailment this afternoon, resumed using a single track (down track).

The Railway Department announced this update following the restoration of limited movement.

The "Sagarika" express train, travelling from Colombo Fort to Matara, derailed today (24).
