Free Lawyers Organisation criticises CoPF over probe process

There is absolutely no confidence in the Committee on Public Finance in Parliament, according to the Free Lawyers Organisation.

President's Counsel Maithri Gunaratne, the Chairman of the Free Lawyers Organisation, made these remarks while participating in the Balaya political programme broadcast on Hiru TV last night.

No preliminary investigation took place during the suspensions and two officers were denied the opportunity to present their facts, the Chairman further stated.
