Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and former Minister Piyankara Jayaratne have been issued notices by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption to appear before the commission on the 12th over an investigation related to the Airbus deal.
Previously, former SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena was arrested over allegations of bribery during the purchase of Airbus aircraft for SriLankan Airlines, and he has been remanded until the day after tomorrow.
