A flood warning issued for the upper catchment areas of the Attanagalu Oya basin will remain in place for another 24 hours until tomorrow (16) due to heavy rainfall, the Irrigation Department announced.
The department urged motorists using regional roads and residents in low-lying areas to remain highly vigilant regarding the current flood situation, advising the public to prepare for relocation to safer areas if necessary.
