The former head of the State Intelligence Service (SIS), Suresh Salley, who is detained under the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), was brought to the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court by officers of the department.
The CID brought Salley to court under tight security measures, and the case is scheduled to be called this afternoon.
The CID arrested Salley last February in connection with the investigations conducted into the Easter Sunday terror attack.
Subsequently, he is being detained and questioned under the Prevention of Terrorism Act and has been under the custody of the CID.
