Two wards at Chilaw Hospital flooded

Due to prevailing rainy weather conditions, Wards 4 and 15 of the Chilaw General Hospital have been flooded.

A hospital spokesperson said that patients receiving treatment in those wards have been transferred to other wards.

Meanwhile, train operations on the Puttalam railway line have been disrupted after a tree fell onto the road near the Chilaw railway station.
