The National System Operator (Private) Company has made a special request to ensure an uninterrupted and safe electricity supply across the country during the Vesak festive season.
The aim is to maintain the reliability and stable operation of the national power grid amid electricity demand during the holiday period.
Accordingly, owners of rooftop solar panel systems have been requested to voluntarily switch off their solar systems until 3 p.m. today (30).
