Water cut in Attanagalla, Kirindiwela tomorrow

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced a 19-hour water cut from 8:00 a.m. tomorrow (16) until 3 a.m. on June 17 due to emergency maintenance work at the Kirindiwela water treatment plant in Attanagalla.

Areas affected by the suspension include Minuwangoda, Asgiriya, Udugampola, Opatha and nearby areas.

The interruption will also affect the Gampaha Municipal Council area, Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha area, Weliweriya, Balummahara, Rathupaswala and surrounding areas.

In the Maharagama Pradeshiya Sabha area, Mangalagama, Kirillawala, Keerthiwanthe, Thihariya, Eti Kehelgalla and nearby areas will also experience disruptions.

Additionally, water supply will be suspended in Ranpokunagama Housing Scheme, Urapola, Attanagalla, Bogamuwa, Waebada Wela, as well as Nittambuwa, Veyangoda, Kalagedihena, Thihariya, Naiwala and surrounding areas.
